Job Summary
- Seasonal position anticipated to start as soon as possible with an end date of 12/31/2026
- Full-time 40 hours/week
- Monday-Friday
- First shift 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Located in Wethersfield CT
- Office/on-site
- Provide hands-on IT support and deployment of Microsoft Windows 11 computer devices for all DMV branches and partner locations throughout the State of Connecticut
- The DMV IT team will guide and train you in physically building installing and supporting system devices
- Teamwork and communication are critical to the success of this project
- Devise and refine instructive IT documentation in preparation and deployment of computer devices
- Travel will be required
- Performs related duties as required
- Selected candidates must be at least 16 years old.

Minimum and maximum hourly rates will be subject to the following criteria:
- Returning Seasonal Workers may receive $.50 an hour additional compensation for each season of service up to the maximum hourly rate.
OR
- Experienced workers in the specific functional area with another employer may be credited with such time on an equivalent basis to seasons worked and granted the same additional compensation up to the maximum hourly rate.
- Undergraduate or graduate students may be granted additional compensation of up to $.50 more per hour (up to the maximum hourly rate) for each full year of completed education on the basis of 30 semester hours equaling one (1) year.
- Performs basic information technology support functions under supervision;
- Provides basic help desk support to end users;
- Refers more complex problems to higher level information systems staff;
- Provides basic support to users in the use of software applications;
- Provides assistance in installation and configuration of local and network printers scanners and other peripherals;
- Performs related duties as required.

- Incumbents in this class assigned to recreational activities must be able to perform emergency first aid as needed and certain positions will require a current Standard First Aid Certificate.
- Incumbents in this class assigned as bus drivers or operators of a motor vehicle must possess and retain a current Connecticut Motor Vehicle Operator License to drive a bus and/or a Motor Vehicle Operators License as necessary.
- Incumbents in this class may be required to travel.
