SeamstressSewing Machine Operator

Chase Staffing is seeking a skilled Seamstress for a client in Marietta GA.

Monday - Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm

Pay rate: $18 an hour

The ideal candidate will have a passion for garment construction and a strong understanding of sewing techniques. This role involves working with various fabrics to create high-quality garments and ensuring that all pieces meet our standards for quality and craftsmanship. The Seamstress will work in a collaborative environment contributing to the overall production process.

Duties

• Operate sewing machines and other equipment to fabricate garments according to specifications.
• Perform garment construction tasks including cutting sewing and finishing.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance ensuring they meet design specifications and standards.
• Maintain an organized workspace within the warehouse keeping tools and materials in order.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot any issues that arise during the production process.
• Follow safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with sewing! Embroidery does not count!
• Proficiency in operating various sewing machines and tools used in fabricating garments.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work consistently.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Previous experience in a warehouse setting is a plus but not mandatory.
