About the role:

Were hiring an SDR Team Lead to lead our New York outbound Sales Development team of 6-8 SDRs. Youll own the teams qualified-meeting and pipeline results coach every rep to get better every week and hire and onboard new SDRs as we grow into 2027.

This is a first leadership step for a top-performing Senior SDR or BDR who has consistently hit their numbers earned a promotion and is ready to lead. If youve been mentoring newer reps and want to turn that into a real management role this is it. Youll stay close to the work too: when the team needs it youll pick up the phone and book meetings alongside them.





What are we looking for:

Were looking for a top-performing Senior SDR or BDR who is ready to step into leadership and be:


A coach who makes the team better

  • Runs weekly 1:1s with each SDR on pipeline activity and blockers
  • Coaches hands-on across phone email and LinkedIn using call reviews live call listening message reviews and role-play on objection handling and cold outreach
  • Gives direct frequent feedback and always follows up to make sure it turns into real change
  • Leads from the front sets the energy in the office and jumps into prospecting when the team needs it


An owner of the teams numbers

  • Takes ownership of weekly monthly and quarterly attainment against qualified-meeting and pipeline targets
  • Sets clear goals and tracks activity conversion and quality metrics per rep (calls sequences meetings booked meetings held meeting-to-opportunity conversion)
  • Spots underperformance early and leads improvement plans when needed
  • Reports team performance to the Senior SDR Manager celebrates wins and addresses challenges quickly so every SDR knows their impact


A team builder

  • Partners with the People team to hire great SDRs for the New York team
  • Owns onboarding and ramp for every new SDR who joins


A strong partner across teams

  • Keeps outbound playbooks cadences and enablement materials sharp and up to date
  • Works with AE Team Leads to keep the SDR-to-AE handoff clean and meeting quality high
  • Partners with Marketing and Revenue Operations on messaging data hygiene and reporting

Requirements:

Required

  • 2 years in outbound sales development (SDR/BDR). Inbound experience is a plus but outbound is a must.
  • A consistent track record of hitting or beating quota
  • At least one promotion earned through performance (for example SDR to Senior SDR)
  • Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to give clear feedback and represent the team to sales leadership
  • Comfortable reading activity conversion and pipeline dashboards and turning the numbers into action
  • Based in the New York City area and able to work from our Chelsea office 4-5 days per week


Nice to have

  • Experience selling a complex product: commercial real estate fintech proptech or another vertical SaaS with a sophisticated buyer
  • Formal or informal experience mentoring other SDRs (onboarding new hires running role-plays or a rep reporting to you)
  • Has built or improved an outbound playbook or cadence
  • Experience with a CRM and sales engagement tools. We use HubSpot Amplemarket and Orum but any comparable tools are great. Well train you on ours.

  • You build people. You see the SDR seat as a path to AE and measure your success by your reps growth and promotions.
  • You thrive in a competitive environment. Youre comfortable on a quota-carrying floor and keep morale high through slower months.

Compensation

The base salary for this role starts at $80000 and is negotiable based on experience. The role also includes commission tied to team quota attainment with total compensation generally structured as a 70/30 base-to-variable split plus stock options and benefits.
