Job Description:

Automation Engineer (5 7 Years Experience)

Responsibilities:

• Automate manual test cases and execute automated regression suites across UI API SOAP and database layers.

• Run daily automation tests analyze execution logs and effectively report bugs to minimize defect leakage.

• Review and assess existing test suites to identify gaps and areas for automation expansion.

• Maintain existing automation scripts to adapt to UI web service and database changes.

• Collaborate with developers and senior QA members to ensure consistent and low-flakiness execution results.

Skills Needed:

• 5 7 years of professional experience in QA automation engineering.

• Strong foundational knowledge of Java programming.

• Hands-on experience writing automated tests using Selenium WebDriver and Cucumber.

• Practical experience testing and automating REST APIs and SOAP web services.

• SQL knowledge with experience querying DB2 databases for test data verification.

• Solid understanding of regression testing principles and test case execution.

• Ability to analyze automated test results and troubleshoot basic script failures.
