As a Quality Engineer youll play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and seamlessness of Apple Pay a service that is constantly evolving with cutting edge features. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills strong technical and debugging skills and a drive to make a difference. To be successful in this role you should be a seasoned developer with strong programming fundamentals. This includes designing documenting and building automated tests at scale.

Creating and maintaining automated UI test cases and reporting test resultsnWorking onsite to test new software on Apples unreleased handheld devicesnContributing to the design and development of testing toolsnPrioritizing scheduling and communicating the status of your worknDiving deep to resolve highly technical issues in complex systemsnTriaging automation failures and driving them to quick resolutionnWorking with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements and maintaining test development roadmapsnCommunicating clearly and concisely with ability to tailor communication to a given audiencenStrong organizational skills enabling both independent and team worknLeveraging AI to streamline and optimize your work

5 years of experience with object-oriented programmingnBS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experiencenExcellent knowledge of the software development lifecycle testing methodology and testing toolsnExperience in developing test plans assessing risk filing appropriate defects and providing relevant data for test reportingnAble to work independently raise issues and take corrective actionnExperience developing and maintaining automation systems that scalenExperience testing applications built for mobile devicesnExperience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelinesnExperience validating microservices (unit component contract integration tests etc)nPassionate about clean code and OO design patterns
