SDET Wallet Identity Quality Engineer

The Apple Wallet Identity QE Team is looking for an experienced software engineer that is excited about the future of digital identities and the impact it can have on the world. Digital identities in Apple Wallet are used by millions of people all over the world from drivers licenses in California to the My Number Card in Japan. We are looking for an experienced SDET to help us shape the future of how digital identities are used.

As a member of the Apple Wallet Identity Quality Team youll establish implement and continuously refine the formal QA processes to ensure that our group adheres to industry-accepted best practices. Additionally youll integrate the testing infrastructure with our continuous integration and continuous deployment systems to ensure that all the tools and services we develop undergo thorough testing and meet our quality standards. You will be part of a team that is responsible for driving new digital identity features from conception all the way to production. You will be architecting and contributing to our server and client automation stack. The automation code you write will be critical to ensuring our digital identity products are meeting the high bar our customers expect. Features you work on will be used by millions of people all over the world. You will work cross-functionally with the development product and project management teams to deliver on aggressive timelines and ship identity features that surprise and delight our customers. Architect automation frameworks - Server and ClientnWork closely with developers to align on feature design test plans and automation development for CI/CDnBe a proponent for utilizing GenAI to assist with the abovenProvide go/no-go decisions to the executive team when releasing new featuresnDeconstruct complicated features into comprehensive test plans that can be incorporated into our automation pipelinesnCollaborate with developers to shift left and catch bugs soonernBuild monitor and enhance CI/CD pipelinesnCollaborate cross-functionally with technical and non-technical experts across ApplenMentor team members and provide technical leadership

5 years of experience with object-oriented programming nBS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experiencenExcellent knowledge of the software development lifecycle testing methodology and testing toolsnExperience in developing test plans assessing risk filing appropriate defects and providing relevant data for test reportingnAble to work independently raise issues and take corrective actionnExperience developing and maintaining automation systems that scalenExperience testing applications built for mobile devicesnExperience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelinesnExperience validating microservices (unit component contract integration tests etc)nPassionate about clean code and OO design patternsnWorks well with tight timelines and under pressurenAbility to work onsite daily at our Austin TX office
