Screw Cell Machine Operations

Milacron is looking for a Grinder Machine Operator to join our team in Batavia this position you will be responsible for operating grinding equipment to finish precision metal parts according to engineering specifications quality standards and production Youll Do:Grind castings machine parts sheet metal subassemblies and other metal components to required excess metal scratches and burrs using grinding equipment and power and install appropriate abrasive wheels based on required finish and and interpret blueprints part drawings sectional views process sheets and job and measure finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and company inspection results and communicate manufacturing issues or defects to Quality and machine performance fluid levels and perform preventative maintenance to support continuous overhead cranes and other equipment to safely lift position and transport standards for safety quality delivery cost 5S housekeeping teamwork and in problem-solving and continuous improvement efforts while recommending improvements to products and :2 years of CNC or grinder machine experience operating grinding equipment and working with machined to read and interpret blueprints and technical to use and read precision measuring mathematical skills including addition subtraction multiplication and to understand and follow verbal and written to safely utilize power tools grinding equipment and overhead computer mechanical and mathematical program certificate 1 years of related experience or training or an equivalent combination of education and to work professionally with employees and to adapt to changing priorities new assignments and high-stress or emergency situations.
