Job Summary

Our client a world leader in biotechnology and life sciences is looking for a Scientist" based out of Pleasanton CA.


Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension)

Pay Rate : $49/hr on W2 DOE

Support assay development activities through laboratory experimentation data analysis and documentation in a regulated R&D environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on molecular biology experience strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of DNA/RNA-based techniques.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct laboratory experiments following established protocols safety guidelines and data integrity standards.
  • Perform DNA/RNA isolation and molecular biology techniques including PCR qPCR and preferably digital PCR.
  • Analyze experimental data using statistical tools such as JMP and document results in electronic laboratory notebooks (eLN).
  • Prepare technical reports protocols and supporting documentation for design history files.
  • Troubleshoot experimental issues and contribute to project timelines and objectives.
  • Present findings to supervisors and project teams as needed.
  • Support routine laboratory operations inventory management safety compliance and quality system requirements.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Molecular Biology Genetics Biochemistry or a related scientific field.
  • 05 years of laboratory experience in assay development molecular biology or related research environments.
  • Hands-on experience with DNA/RNA extraction PCR qPCR and molecular biology techniques.
  • Strong data analysis and documentation skills.
  • Familiarity with statistical software such as JMP preferred.
  • Knowledge of laboratory quality systems data integrity practices and regulated environments is a plus.
