Join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Scientist I Formulation where youll make meaningful contributions to products that help make the world healthier cleaner and this role youll perform formulation and manufacturing activities in a GMP/ISO-regulated environment working with state-of-the-art equipment and technologies. Youll execute manufacturing protocols troubleshoot processes maintain detailed documentation and collaborate across functions to ensure high-quality output. This position offers opportunities to drive continuous improvement while working in a team-oriented setting focused on safety quality and operational excellence.

Keys to Success:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors Degree required with no prior experience in pharmaceutical/biotechnology manufacturing formulation development or related laboratory work. Preferred Fields of Study: Chemistry Biochemistry Biology Pharmaceutical Sciences Engineering or related scientific field
  • Demonstrated expertise in aseptic techniques and GMP manufacturing practices.
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory equipment analytical methods and instrumentation.
  • Proficient in documentation practices and batch record completion.
  • Experience with quality systems and regulatory compliance (GMP ISO)
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and laboratory software systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work while wearing required PPE.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including possible shift work.
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety protocols.
  • Knowledge of data analysis and basic statistical methods.
  • Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to changing priorities.
