Scientist Antibody Discovery (AI and Machine Learning)

The AI/ML Scientist Antibody Discovery designs and deploys machinelearning models that accelerate antibody discovery pipelines while contributing handson wetlab experimentation. This role combines antibody discovery immunology and modern protein language models to drive datainformed decisions from early discovery through preclinical development.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Design train validate and deploy AI/ML models including protein and antibody language models to support antibody library design hit triage and developability assessment

• Execute handson wetlab work approximately 50% of the time including library construction display selections NGS sample preparation and biophysical or functional assays

• Develop and operate antibody NGS analysis pipelines including paired heavy and light chain assembly clonotyping and longitudinal repertoire analysis

• Architect and manage scalable training and inference workflows using AWS S3 EC2 and highperformance GPU or parallel compute environments

• Translate experimental and sequencing data into validated models and actionable recommendations for antibody optimization programs

• Collaborate closely with wetlab scientists informatics teams and project managers to advance antibody candidates toward therapeuticgrade leads

• Document experimental data and AI/ML workflows in Benchling and maintain reproducibility through version control and formal documentation

What We Are Looking For:

• PhD in Computational Biology Bioinformatics Computer Science Biophysics Immunology Molecular Biology or a closely related discipline

• Demonstrated experience applying AI/ML to antibody or protein sequence data including protein or antibody language models

• Handson wetlab experience in antibody discovery including display technologies NGS and biophysical or functional characterization

• Other Equivalent combination of education training and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

The Knowledge Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role:

• Strong understanding of antibody discovery immunology and antibodies as therapeutic modalities

• Ability to independently scope execute and validate complex AI/ML and experimental projects with attention to detail

• Effective communication and collaboration skills when working across multidisciplinary scientific and technical teams
