Position Overview

The ideal candidate will deliver engaging standards-based instruction in 8th grade Science Biology and ICP creating a classroom environment where students feel supported challenged and excited to learn.

• Plan and deliver dynamic lessons aligned with Indiana Academic Standards
• Utilize hands-on labs and real-world applications to deepen student understanding
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
• Assess student progress and provide timely meaningful feedback
• Foster a positive safe and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen curriculum and instruction
• Communicate effectively with students families and staff

Qualifications

• Valid Indiana teaching license (or ability to obtain)
• Strong content knowledge
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
• Commitment to continuous professional growth
