Job Summary

TraxLinks School Transportation is now accepting applications for Independent Contractor Drivers to support student transportation services throughout Miami-Dade County for the upcoming school term.

TraxLinks currently supports student transportation operations throughout Miami-Dade County including Miami Lakes Hialeah Hialeah Gardens Miami Springs North Miami Kendall Westchester Olympia Heights South Miami Cutler Bay Goulds Homestead Florida City Redland and surrounding communities.

We are actively building our driver network to support current and future route opportunities under our dedicated contract with EverDriven. Applicants who complete onboarding early will receive priority consideration for route assignments as they become available.

About the Role

This is a part-time Independent Contractor position using your own vehicle to transport students to safely and from school. The position features a predictable school-year-based split-shift schedule operating before and after school making it ideal for drivers seeking recurring part-time income and a consistent schedule.

Miami-Dade Driver Requirements

Valid drivers license.

Clean driving record and ability to satisfy Miami-Dade County School District transportation requirements.

Reliable vehicle meeting program requirements.

Professional appearance communication skills and commitment to student safety.

Successful completion of the districts Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review process is required.

Candidates with fewer than five years of U.S. driving history may be required to provide additional driving history documentation from another country or jurisdiction.

Additional fingerprinting screening and district authorization requirements apply.

Requirements
Minimum 5 years of driving experience.
Valid Florida Drivers License with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Personal vehicle less than 10 years old (certified mechanic inspection required).
Android or iPhone smartphone with a data plan.
Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
Successful completion of all required safety training and EverDriven compliance metrics.
Verbal English proficiency (clear communication with dispatch parents and school staff is essential).
Professional dependable and student-focused attitude.
Commercial Drivers License (CDL) is NOT required.
