School Social Worker Long-term Substitute

Intermediate District 287 is looking for a School Social Worker long-term substitute for the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year at South Education Center!

Intermediate District 287 serves students in grades K-12 as well as transition age students (18-22 years old) from our 12 member districts in the west metro area. Our district offers a wide range of services and specialized programs primarily focused on setting IV special education that is designed to meet the diverse needs of our students. Work Schedule:This is a temporary position expected first day of school through mid-December 2026.

Salaryis based on Local 2209 Salary Schedule A: $34.88 - $69.19 per hour (depending on experience and education)

Requirements:

• Interested in candidates who are: diverse bilingual or have experience working with diverse populations.
• Experience with at risk students with behavioral mental health and/or chemical health needs.
• Advanced degree in Social Work (MSW) Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) from an accredited college or university.
• Must be licensed in MN by the Board of Social Work.
• Current Tier 3 or Tier 4 license as a School Social Worker issued by the Professional Educator Licensing Standards Board (PELSB) or eligible to receive license.
