Hello School Social Workers! Ampersand Therapy is hiring School Social Workers to support students in K12 school settings in Aurora CO. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing counseling social-emotional support crisis intervention and connecting students and families with resources they need to thrive.

Youll build meaningful relationships with students collaborate closely with educators and related service providers and help create a supportive school environment where students can succeed.

Whether youre a new clinician or an experienced School Social Worker youll have the opportunity to grow your skills make a difference in students lives and be part of a collaborative school team.

• Provide individual and group counseling to support student mental health and social-emotional development
• Support crisis intervention de-escalation and safety planning as needed
• Participate in IEP MTSS and student support team meetings
• Conduct assessments related to social-emotional and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with teachers families and related service providers
• Support attendance engagement and wraparound services for students and families
• Assist in developing and implementing intervention plans
• Maintain timely accurate and compliant documentation
• Connect families to community resources and supports
  

• Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field
• Valid Colorado CDE Special Services Provider license with School Social Worker endorsement (or eligibility by start date)
• Strong communication collaboration and crisis response skills
• School-based experience preferred not required
• Passion for supporting students mental health and well-being
