Job Title: SC/School Psychologist

Location: Columbia SC 29223

Shift: Day Shift 5x7.5-Hour Shifts 7:00 AM 2:30 PM

Position Overview:
The School Psychologist supports K12 students by conducting psychoeducational evaluations providing counselling and behavioural interventions and collaborating with school teams to improve student learning and well-being. Responsibilities include participating in IEP processes ensuring compliance with guidelines maintaining thorough documentation and assisting with crisis intervention.

This role requires onsite work with potential limited hybrid flexibility and a licensed South Carolina School Psychologist with strong assessment and consultation skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for K12 students
Provide direct and indirect psychological services including counselling interventions and behaviour support
Collaborate with teachers administrators and multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and emotional development
Participate in IEP meetings eligibility determinations and progress monitoring
Maintain thorough documentation and comply with district state and federal guidelines
Support crisis intervention efforts and provide consultation on behavioural and academic strategies
Work onsite according to the established schedule with potential for limited hybrid flexibility

Required Qualifications:
Valid South Carolina School Psychologist license required
Minimum 2 years of professional school psychologist experience required
Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology (Ed.S. SSP or equivalent) required
Experience working with diverse K12 student populations
Ability to work onsite full-time or in an approved 3-days onsite / 2-days remote hybrid schedule
Strong skills in assessment data interpretation consultation and documentation
