School Psychologist Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
  • Interpret assessment data and write comprehensive evaluation reports
  • Participate in eligibility determinations and IEP development
  • Design and implement evidence-based interventions and supports
  • Collaborate with teachers special education staff families and multidisciplinary teams
  • Support students academic social emotional and behavioral development
  • Participate in IEP meetings team meetings and school-based problem-solving teams
  • Provide consultation on behavioral strategies and classroom supports
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance records
Qualifications
  • Masters degree or higher in School Psychology
  • Valid Vermont School Psychologist License (or eligibility)
  • Strong skills in assessment intervention and consultation
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teams
