Our organization is recruiting a School Psychologist for a full-time position with a South Carolina school district during the school year. This role focuses on evaluating student needs guiding intervention strategies and partnering with school teams to support student success.
The Opportunity
Youll serve as a resource for students educators and families by conducting evaluations interpreting assessment results and recommending supports tailored to individual needs. Your work will help school teams make informed decisions and create effective educational plans.
The School Psychologist will conduct psychoeducational assessments evaluate student needs and translate findings into practical recommendations for educational planning. Responsibilities include supporting IEP development eligibility decisions and progress monitoring consulting with teachers on academic and behavioral interventions and providing social-emotional support. The role also involves collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams maintaining confidential documentation and contributing to a positive school environment.
Requirements
Candidates should have a masters degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field and hold or be eligible to obtain the appropriate South Carolina School Psychologist credential or license. Strong assessment consultation communication and organizational abilities are essential along with the ability to work effectively with students families educators and support professionals. School-based experience and NASP certification are preferred but not required.
