School Paraprofessional

Job Summary (List Format):

- Assist in an elementary special education classroom full-time for the next school year
- Support students with moderate to severe disabilities in both individual and group activities
- Help implement instructional and behavioral objectives as outlined in students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Work under the general supervision of a certified Special Education teacher
- Address physical and instructional needs of students with disabilities
- Ensure a safe supportive and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with staff to promote student learning and independence
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school/district policies

Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience working with children in a special education environment
- Valid Texas Educational Aide I II or III Certification
