School Nurse

Windham Academy is seeking a compassionate organized and student-centered School Nurse to join our dedicated team. The School Nurse plays a vital role in supporting the physical emotional and social well-being of students while helping to maintain a safe and healthy school environment. The ideal candidate is a collaborative professional who values strong relationships with students families and staff and is committed to supporting the overall success of our school community.

• Provide direct nursing care to students and staff as needed

• Assess and manage student illnesses injuries and medical emergencies

• Administer medications and maintain accurate health records in accordance with state regulations and school policies

• Develop and monitor individual healthcare plans emergency action plans and accommodations for students with medical needs

• Communicate effectively with families healthcare providers and school staff regarding student health concerns

• Monitor immunization compliance and student medical documentation

• Promote health education and wellness initiatives throughout the school community

• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations

• Support a positive caring and student-focused school culture

• Current New HampshireLPN or RN

• Bachelors degree preferred

• Previous pediatric school nursing or community health experience preferred

• Strong communication organizational and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment

• CPR and First Aid certification required
