NEW HIRES ARE CONDITIONAL UPON PASSING A FINGERPRINT SCREENING
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Must be a registered nurse currently licensed with the State of Washington
- ESA required or ability to obtain
- Must work within designated bounds of authority and confidentiality
- Willing to work collaboratively with building and district staff
- Ability to develop rapport and communicate well with students parents and staff
- Able to work independently and on own initiatives with interruptions
- Ableto work flexible hours and make visits to migrant families as needed
- Able to provide own transportation
- Ability to follow safe work practices and procedures
The candidate must demonstrate commitment to student success while aligning with state requirements and the schools guiding principles vision and mission. The candidate must also demonstrate passion and enthusiasm for working with all students. The candidate must be willing to participate in required trainings and professional development implement best practices that foster meaningful learning experiences work within a system that supports student interventions and collaborate with relevant staff members to enhance student outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED:
- BSN from an accredited nursing program
- Two years of experience in public healthnursing preferably in a school district
- Bilingual/Biliterate* in English/Spanish
