POSITION: School Counselor 1.00 FTE
New Milford High School

New Milford Public Schools serves approximately 3500 students from prekindergarten through 12th grade with the support of 645 staff including355 certified staff providing a comprehensive education focused onacademic excellence innovation and community engagement. The districtincludes two elementary schools an intermediate school Schaghticoke Middle School and New Milford High School all dedicated to fostering asupportive and inclusive learning environment. The district also valuesstrong partnerships between educators parents and the community toenhance student success.

Qualifications:

• Candidates must have a valid and current Connecticut State Certificate in above subject
• Possesses a degree from an accredited college or university
• Experience as a School Counselor at the High School Level a plus
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable
