Responsibilities:
- Provide individual group and family therapy services tailored to the needs of youth experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate with families school staff and other professionals to coordinate care.
- Deliver crisis intervention within classrooms and school settings
- Utilize systemic family therapy and solution-focused approaches
- Develop discharge resources and support youth in achieving stability and growth
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Social Work Psychology or Child Development from a regionally accredited college or university
- Professional or provisional license through DORA in the State of Colorado (LPC LCSW LP or LMFT) is required
- CDE license in School Social Work is required (or the ability to enroll in the program within 60 days of hire)
- Minimum of two years experience working with adolescents and their families.
- Ability to work with sensitivity to the cultural and/or socioeconomic diversity of the agencys clients and staff.
- Ability to maintain healthy emotional and physical boundaries in personal and professional relationships
- Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening as a condition of employmentin accordance withColorado Department of Human Services regulations for childcare facilities. This screening includes initial and ongoing state criminal background checks fingerprinting sex offender registry searches and abuse and neglect clearances. If the employee has lived in any other state within the past five years equivalent background and abuse/neglect checks from those states will also be addition employeesare required tocomplete a health evaluation or physical examination prior to beginning service to confirm fitness for duty and annually thereafter.
