This is the kind of role a lot of our nurses wish theyd found sooner especially LVNs who are retired semi-retired or just want steady part-time work without the demands of a full clinical schedule.

Youll spend about 2.5 hours a day (3:005:30 PM MondayFriday) riding home with a medically fragile students making sure theyre safe and cared for on the bus ride home from school. No nights. No weekends. No on-call. Just consistent rewarding time with a students who need you and a paycheck that reflects the skill it takes to do it well.

What youll do:

• Ride the afternoon bus route with students who have medical needs
• Monitor their health and step in with nursing care if needed
• Respond calmly and correctly if a medical situation comes up
• Keep in touch with school staff and the students family
• Complete simple timely documentation

What you need:

• Active Texas LVN license
• Current CPR certification
• Comfort working with kids and/or medically fragile patients (pediatric experience is a plus not a requirement)
• A calm caring detail-oriented approach
