Durham School Services is immediately hiring fully credentialed Travel School Bus Drivers to support locations based on business needs.

If you already have your CDL Class B with Passenger and School Bus endorsements and are open to traveling this is a great opportunity to receive guaranteed 40 hour work weeks additional travel incentives and consistent work while supporting our teams and communities.

Schedule: Guaranteed 40 hours per week

Location: West Rochester NY with travel to other locations based on business needs

Travel: Travel is required for this position. Eligible drivers will receive travel incentives while supporting assigned locations.

As a Travel School Bus Driver you will:

• Safely transport students to and from school and other designated locations
• Travel to support locations experiencing driver needs
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Follow all company state and federal safety requirements
• Maintain a safe and professional environment for students
• Work assigned routes and schedules based on location needs

Candidates must have:

• CDL Class B
• Passenger (P) endorsement
• School Bus (S) endorsement
• A safe driving record
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Flexibility to work assignments based on operational needs

Requirements:

• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record (no CDL needed to start).
• Must have held a drivers license for at least 3 years (5 years if applying in Tennessee or Washington).
• Minimum age: 21 (25 in Tennessee).If youve held a DOT-regulated driving role in the past 3 years we must be able to verify that employment per DOT guidelines.
• Pass DOT drug screen physical and background check
• Compliance with DOT regulations (marijuana prohibited even for medical use)
• Reliable attendance & safety-first attitude
