JOB DESCRIPTION:
Centerstone is seeking a compassionate and dedicated School-Based Therapist to provide behavioral health services to students in the Wayne County School System including:
- Waynesboro Elementary School
- Waynesboro Middle School
- Waynesboro High School
This position offers a unique opportunity to provide therapy where students spend most of their day helping children and adolescents build resilience improve emotional well-being and achieve success both in and out of the classroom.

- Conduct clinical intake assessments and establish diagnoses
- Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans
- Provide individual therapy services to students based on assessed clinical needs
- Collaborate with families school personnel and treatment team members
- Complete clinical documentation in a timely and accurate manner
- Monitor treatment progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Respond professionally and promptly to client and organizational needs
- Maintain ethical standards and sound clinical judgment in all services provided
- Masters degree in:
- Social Work
- Counseling
- Marriage and Family Therapy
- Clinical Psychology
- Related behavioral health field
- License-eligible in Tennessee
- Experience working with children adolescents and families
- Experience in school-based outpatient or community mental health settings
Applicants with a related behavioral health degree may qualify with:
- 24 graduate semester hours in behavioral health-related coursework
- Training in assessment treatment planning psychopathology and DSM-based diagnosis
- Relevant clinical internship or practicum experience
- Valid drivers license
- Ability to meet organizational vehicle insurance requirements
Starting Salary: $42300-$46700
