School Based Clinical Coordinator- Bilingual

With 50 locations and 100 programs in NYCs most under-served communities our 1000 results-oriented professionals make a difference for more than 40000 children and their families each School-Based Clinical-Coordinator (SBCC) is responsible for leading a site-based team of direct-service professionals dedicated to the mental wellness school attendance and academic progress of students. The SBCC will also provide individual and group therapeutic counseling and help link students and families to other necessary services impacting their success. The SBCC collaborates with school administration and Community Based Organizations (CBO) that run Community Schools to review efforts discuss challenges and implement effective strategies to improve student outcomes. The SB Clinical Coordinator assigns work develops and communicates expected productivity levels to staff. Report to Program Director Senior PD or Associate Vice Responsibilities:Manage outcome data and ensure that systems are efficiently collecting relevant data billing material intakes; and individual group and family direct-service staff such as Youth Advocates College Career Advisors training support and collaborative work with teachers counselors and families as evidenced-based treatment such as Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT).Consistently collaborate with school staff and faculty on referrals progress monitoring events and and review documentation progress notes and quarterly treatment plans concurrently with clients and in accordance with OMH other related duties as Responsibilities:Manages the overall direction coordination and evaluation of the direct-service team. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the agency policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing; hiring; planning; assigning; and directing work; rewarding and disciplining employees; performance reviews; addressing complaints; and resolving Qualifications:LMSW/LCSW in Microsoft Office to plan and carry out assignments to prioritize adhere to timelines and (Spanish/English) Preferred:SIFI certification or acquiring and knowledge of trauma work evidence-based treatments and youth in Electronic Medical Record SystemExcellent communication skills especially writing.
