Scheduling System Coordinator (Hybrid) Ophthalmology

Job Summary
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Initiates/maintains clinical non-clinical and surgical electronic schedules for physicians and patients.
- Coordinates with clinical supervisors to optimize scheduling system utility.
- Develops new functions and innovative uses of system and installs system upgrades providing current manuals and training/explanations to users.
- Generates reports and master schedules for physicians providers patients and staff assisting with data analysis as needed.
- Coordinates scheduling with billing IDX dictionaries acting as liaison with departments clinical/billing supervisors.
- Troubleshoots system for all users conducting audits to maintain effective use of systems.
- Participates in department/university meetings to ensure scheduling system meets needs and objectives established.
- May supervise assigned staff.
