Job Summary
Assists physicians and staff by performing functions of ensuring successful completion of scheduling surgery cases. Posts all cases with Surgery
Scheduling at SRH and TOSC ensuring that all data is properly completed and all required or related information is attached. Primary point of
contact for all patients scheduled for procedures outside the clinic and inside the clinic. Releases OR block scheduled time in the appropriate manner. Uses practice management and electronic medical record systems proficiently as primary source of documentation of all patient visits and correspondence. Completes all required training when scheduled allowing none to become delinquent.
Special Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent required. Must be very organized with a high level of accountability. Must have excellent customer service skills
and qualified computer skills. Demonstrates initiative and maturity with good interpersonal /telephone skills. Is able to set priorities
maintain confidentiality work with all departments be trustworthy discrete and cooperative.
