Scheduling Consultant (Hybrid)

Summary:As a YA Scheduling Consultant you will be working independently to coordinate and manage construction schedules for various projects. Scheduling Consultants are responsible for performing inspections of project sites to evaluate project progress conducting analysis of project documents and data effectively relaying findings and updating schedules. Scheduling Consultants are expected to use a large measure of independent judgement considering and weighing alternatives when appropriate taking into account the financial and operational significance of the services being is a great opportunity for recent college graduates or early industry professionals. Known for accuracy and strategic insight PCAS helps clients align scope schedule and budget from the earliest planning stages through project execution. Role & Responsibilities:Participate in all phases of the construction planning & scheduling process including the development of schedules and ongoing schedule forensic analysis of project schedules contemporaneous documentation and construction inspections of construction project sites evaluating project and organize large amounts of construction project documents and schedule delay analysis to establish the cause and extent of delays and to resolve construction delay construction productivity and progress data extended general conditions and expediting the impact of project changes and schedule delays effectively communicating on behalf of clients to monitor and manage timelines expenses and other factors critical to operational efficiency and cost management during all phases of and synthesize relevant information to prepare technical project job files documentation and other relevant with other department employees contractors and clients on a regular basisPerforms other duties as Qualifications:Bachelors degree in construction management engineering or equivalent of 2 years in a professional work using critical path method (CPM) techniques to analyze construction project experience or exposure to builders risk insurance policies construction claims management and managing to travel as needed to project sites and client offices (approx. 25-35%).Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team towards a common communications skills with the ability to interface with various stakeholders and with Microsoft Project Oracle Primavera 6 and ASTA Recruitment Alert:Please be vigilant against fraudulent recruitment attempts.
