Job Title: Scheduler (Administrative Assistant) PACE Clinic
Job Type: Temporary (Up to 6 Months)
Schedule: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Location: 505 City Parkway West Orange CA
Pay: $23.92 $28.00 per hour (Based on experience)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Scheduler (Administrative Assistant) to join our PACE Clinic this role you will coordinate specialty appointments arrange transportation provide administrative support and serve as a key point of contact for participants families and healthcare providers. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and enjoys helping patients receive timely quality care.
Responsibilities- Schedule specialty appointments for participants.
- Coordinate transportation with participants families caregivers and transportation vendors.
- Communicate appointment details and updates to participants and families.
- Provide reception and front-office support as needed.
- Coordinate services with clinical staff and interdisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation in medical records.
- Prepare reports correspondence spreadsheets and other administrative documents.
- Handle confidential participant and personnel information.
- Assist with department projects and other administrative duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical or healthcare setting.
- CPR and First Aid Certification required or willingness to obtain within six months of hire.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint).
- Associate degree.
- One year of healthcare experience.

- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience handling confidential information.

- Ability to sit stand walk bend and use a computer for extended periods.
- Occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person and by telephone.
