Scenic Mold Maker

Skillforce is currently hiring Scenic Mold Makers in Orlando FL for on-going projects. Pay is $25- $28 per hour based on experience and skillset. As a Scenic Mold Maker you are responsible for building high quality molds for large-scale commercial projects.OSHA 10 required.

Scenic Mold Maker Responsibilities

• Build modify and repair molds for fiberglass foam composites and other specialty materials
• Interpret blueprints drawings and design specifications
• Construct molds using wood fiberglass resin plaster silicone and various other mold-making materials
• Prepare molds for production ensuring accuracy and quality
• Perform finishing trimming sanding and surface preparation as needed
• Collaborate with scenic artists carpenters sculptors and production teams to meet project deadlines
• Inspect completed molds and troubleshoot issues
• Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment

Scenic Mold MakerQualifications

• Previous experience as a mold maker or similar shop/fabrication role
• Experience working with sticky molds silicone molds matrix molds or other related materials
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in scenic fabrication is a plus
• OSHA 10 required
• Drug Test is required
