As a Scanning Clerk youll play an important role in keeping our document management operations running smoothly and accurately. This is an in-office position based in our Greensboro NC office.
What Youll Do
Document Preparation & Scanning Prepare physical documents for scanning by removing bindings staples and clips. Scan name and electronically file documents with care ensuring every image is clean and legible.
Quality Control Perform quality checks on scanned documents to verify accuracy and completeness before files are finalized.
Physical Filing & Organization Return paper documents to correct order after scanning binding collating and stapling where appropriate and maintain a clean organized workspace at all times.
Equipment Maintenance Keep scanning equipment in good working order through basic upkeep: replenishing paper and toner clearing jams and removing stray staples or clips that can damage machines.
Administrative Support Provide support to the claims department as needed including data entry filing preparation of reports and spreadsheets processing reimbursement applications uploading documents and general file management.
Time & Workload Management Manage your own workload and timesheet accurately ensuring that time is billed to the appropriate client accounts and within established budgets.
What You Bring
- 6 months to 1 year of general work experience (preferred)
- Comfort operating a personal computer and/or document scanning equipment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and digital file management within a Windows environment; familiarity with Adobe is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow multi-step instructions accurately
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to stay organized and on-task independently
- Physical ability to sit or stand for extended periods and lift heavy file boxes as needed
