Job Summary:
The Diagnostic Medical Imaging Program in the School of Health Professions at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking an hourly/part-time Adjunct Instructor / Scan Lab Instructor. The successful candidate will:
Instruct students and provide feedback on ultrasound scanning techniques.
Ensure students maintain scan lab and equipment and practice proper infection control prevention.
Comply with AIUM and CAAHEP standards and guidelines.
Administer and score OSCEs on campus.
Required Qualifications:
Associates Degree.
2 years of sonography experience.
Active RDMS and/or RDCS certification.
Clinical experience.
Ability to effectively and respectfully communicate orally with student and faculty.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree.
Work Schedule:
Variable Days; Variable Hours (Hourly/Part-Time)
