Description: Jones Bros is seeking a Full-Time Scale Clerk for our Aggregates Division in Alexandria TN. The ideal candidate is motivated safety-conscious detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This position is responsible for operating the truck scale system taking customer orders dispatching trucks and performing general clerical duties in accordance with established procedures.

Responsibilities

Operate truck scales for the dispatch and delivery of products and materials.

Answer customer calls and assist with customer service needs.

Take customer orders and coordinate truck dispatching.

Assist with processing paperwork for corporate accounting systems including payables payroll and related documentation.

Support sales staff with customer service responsibilities.

Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Entry-level position.

High school diploma required.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Excellent customer service skills.

Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.

Ability to multi-task in a busy work environment.

Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
