Now Hiring: Sawyer - TrussWest Richland WAOperates basic saw types such as pop-up miter web saws etc. to cut planks timbers or boards according to work orders by performing the following work order to determine cut(s) to be saw for required speed of saw and feed automatic feeding of lumber to saw or pushes end of lumber into feed cut lumber after supervisor of dull saw Requirements:Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and Environment / Physical Activity:While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to walk; stoop kneel crouch or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision depth perception and ability to adjust performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
