Job Description:

The candidate for this position is required to perform daily woodshop area functions.
Ability to record receiving data using computer. Schedule create and close all the wood departments jobs.
Candidate responsibilities may consist of but not limited to:

• Ability and experience in using following equipment; CNC Point to Point
• Ability and experience in using the following equipment: Edge Banding Machine
• Maintain inventory control for the wood department.
• Verify count and organize inventory providing accurate inventory counts and locations.
• Fulfill department quotas on a daily bases.
• Multitask structure and oversee all aspects of the department to insure the quotas are met.
• Maintain company equipment in working order and promote a safe clean and organized working environment. Follow companys quality controls procedures.
• Insure to follow all company standards procedures and direct instructions.

Assist and work with other company departments to ensure product is produced to company standard and follows distribution channels in a correct and timely manner.
Additional responsibilities will be assigned as required.

Job Requirements:

Good understanding and basic knowledge of a woodworking department.
At least 1 years experience in the wood working field as a CNC machine operator (or) 1 years
Computer experience with basic format windows base applications as well as specialized MRP system software Epicor Vantage.
Ability to work well with others: A team player attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed. Time management skills; strong organizational skills; an ability to juggle multiple tasks; flexible and resourceful.
Outstanding attention to detail is also recommended.

Additional Comments:

Must have a valid drivers license
Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent
Must be able to pass a drug screen
Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations
Ability to work with limited supervision
Willing to work some weekends and extended hours in a fast paced manufacturing environment
Willing and able to wear required PPE (personal protective equipment) such as steel toe shoes face shields and arc protective clothing
