In this role you will be working as a Saw Operator responsible for setting up and operating various cutting equipment to prepare materials for machining and assembly. This includes working with manual and CNC band saws circular saws and cold cut saws to cut metal parts to precise specifications. You will also handle material movement perform basic machine maintenance and ensure parts meet quality standards.
This position is a direct hire role that must be worked on-site (MondayFriday 6:00 AM 2:30 PM).
Pay Range:
$20 $25/hour (based on experience)
Requirements
- 36 months of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Experience operating saws or similar cutting equipment (band saws circular saws etc.)
- Ability to read work instructions and basic blueprints
- Experience measuring materials and ensuring accuracy
- Comfortable working with metal materials (bars tubes sheets)
- Ability to use basic measurement tools (tape measure calipers etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to perform minor machine maintenance
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced physical environment
