Wieland is hiring a Bar Saw Operator. The Saw Operator will be responsible for focusing on machine operation and product quality while assisting with overall warehouse operations as needed. This role is located in Texas City TX and will be fully on-site.

Starting Pay: $19/hr

Schedule: 1st Shift

Bar Saw Operator Responsibilities:

Duties and responsibilities include (but not limited to) the following:

• Create and maintain a safe organized working environment.

• Operate machinery in a safe manner to ensure quality product.

• Inspect material before and after operation for imperfections.

• Load and unload product from the machinery for processing.

• Inspect inventory and product orders for accuracy.

• Reportproduct discrepancies to management.

• Actively communicate with teammates.

• Operate forklifts to relocate material.
• Other Operationstasks asassigned.

Bar Saw Operator Qualifications:

To perform this position successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/orability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made.

• 1-2 years of experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Understanding of manufacturing industries preferred.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail (critical skill).
• Ability to read write and communicate in English.
• Ability to communicate professionally with all departments coworkers and management.
• Ability to work as part of a team andoffer assistance toteammates when necessary.
• Ability to work occasional Saturday hours as required by the position.
• Ability to work in warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to read dimensioned engineering drawings.
• Ability to read a tape measure and calipers.
• Liftpushpullup to50 pounds
• Standing walkingup to10hours
• Twistingbending up to10hours
• Perform duties under pressure of deadlines
• Must be able to wear task-appropriate PPE
• Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments
