In This Role
You will serve as an IT Project Manager supporting supply chain digitization initiatives for a large-scale enterprise technology environment. This role will focus on managing SAP-related programs and system enhancements across procurement logistics integration reporting and operational workflows.
You will partner closely with business stakeholders functional analysts developers data teams and external vendors to deliver technology solutions that improve procurement visibility supplier collaboration inventory tracking shipment transparency and end-to-end supply chain execution. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating at both the strategic and tactical levels including roadmap planning requirements gathering defect management integration testing UAT coordination risk tracking stakeholder communication and executive-level reporting.
This is a highly cross-functional role suited for someone who can translate business needs into technology delivery plans manage competing priorities and keep complex integration-heavy programs moving from requirements through go-live and hypercare.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of SAP-related technology projects including project planning scope management timelines budgets risks issues and dependencies.
- Lead daily or recurring project meetings with functional analysts developers data teams business stakeholders and vendor partners to align priorities and remove blockers.
- Triage system interface and integration issues across supply chain digitization platforms including ERP procurement tools reporting dashboards and middleware.
- Partner with procurement logistics supply chain and operations stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into actionable project plans.
- Support digitization initiatives such as purchase order tracking shipment visibility inventory dashboards vendor portals exception alerts and automation capabilities.
- Maintain project governance artifacts including project plans RAID logs sprint plans status reports steering committee updates action-item trackers and decision logs.
- Coordinate with technical teams on system builds API testing integration testing data validation and defect resolution.
- Define and manage test plans to ensure solutions are ready for User Acceptance Testing.
- Facilitate UAT activities including test planning defect tracking issue prioritization business sign-off and readiness reporting.
- Develop rollout plans cutover procedures release plans and post-go-live support processes.
- Prepare and present cost-benefit analyses project updates risk summaries and recommendations to project sponsors and leadership.
- Ensure appropriate systems development lifecycle and project management processes are followed.
- Track project performance against milestones SLAs budget scope and overall business outcomes.
- Drive adoption of new tools workflows dashboards and process improvements across business user groups.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Information Systems Business Supply Chain or a related technical field.
- 57 years of project management or technical program management experience.
- 5 years managing SAP-related technology programs including full implementations major enhancements or integration-heavy delivery efforts.
- 35 years of experience working with SAP Ariba modules such as supplier onboarding sourcing contracts procurement workflows or supplier collaboration.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA particularly procurement materials management logistics or related supply chain modules.
- Experience managing projects involving middleware APIs IDocs CIG PI/PO or other integration technologies.
- Strong understanding of supply chain procurement logistics inventory vendor management and PO-to-delivery processes.
- Proven experience managing complex multi-team programs using Agile hybrid or traditional project delivery methods.
- Strong experience with roadmap planning sprint planning RAID log ownership defect tracking UAT coordination and executive status reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities assess project risk and drive issue resolution across cross-functional teams.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience coordinating with external vendors suppliers implementation partners or OEMs.
- Strong documentation presentation communication and team leadership skills.
- PMP PMI or equivalent project management certification preferred or required based on client expectations.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA advanced technical degree or advanced business degree.
- PMP PMI-ACP Scrum Master or similar project/program management certification.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Ariba SCC Sourcing Contracts or supplier collaboration capabilities.
- Experience with SAP EPPM or enterprise portfolio/project management platforms.
- Experience delivering technology solutions in large-scale multi-platform enterprise environments.
- Experience supporting supply chain digitization procurement transformation logistics automation or enterprise ERP modernization initiatives.
- Experience managing programs that connect digital systems with physical operations such as inventory movement capital equipment tracking construction supply chains infrastructure delivery or large-scale operational buildouts.
- Experience with dashboards reporting tools IoT-enabled tracking data pipelines predictive lead-time models or exception-alerting capabilities.
- Experience leading go-live readiness cutover planning hypercare adoption tracking and post-launch stabilization.
- Ability to translate technical issues into business impact and communicate risks clearly to leadership.
- Strong vendor management experience including tracking third-party deliverables resolving dependencies and escalating risks appropriately.
- Background in procurement logistics infrastructure construction capital equipment or complex supply chain environments is highly preferred.
Salary Range
At Blueprint we strive to offer competitive pay that reflects the value of our team members. Compensation for this role is influenced by a variety of factors including skills education responsibilities experience and geographic market. For candidates based in Washington State the anticipated salary range is$90000 $100000 per annum. Please note that we typically do not hire new employees at the top of the posted range. Actual starting pay will be determined based on experience skills and internal equity. The final salary and job title may vary depending on the selected candidates qualifications and could fall outside the stated range.
