We are strategic partners to business bringing IT solutions to resolve their challenges. Seagate is looking for an expert systems-focused high-performing and experienced Senior Program/Project Manager to work with our Pricing Sales and Finance partners to continuously explore areas of process improvement. The Senior Program/Project Manager will be the primary point of contact for a specific function and own the relationship. The Senior Program/Project Manager is responsible for the definition and documentation of complex business processes across global cross-functional teams to ensure alignment as well as documentation of non-standard processes for specific local requirements. The Senior Program/Project Manager will also drive the collection and prioritization of requests gather detailed requirements and engage in data analysis as needed. Once the business process is clearly defined well understood and documented the Senior Program/Project Manager will be involved in designing and developing the solution. The Senior Program/Project Manager will also collaborate with our internal IT teams IT Support teams and 3rd party service providers to deliver technology to support business needs

About the role - you will:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements to tools and processes associated with Pricing Sales & Finance process price setting for channel customers pricing contracts for OEM customers special pricing authorization process for channel customers
• Drive systems-related project execution in direct partnership with business teams and extended development teams; document business results achieved through solution implementation
• Project/Process Management: Candidate has proven project management experience where they have implemented process improvements and enhancements for better business outcomes. Ability to translate business needs and requirements to an IT development team and deliver complex system solutions meeting business needs and driving automation. Systems thinking skills will be highly leveraged.
• Application Enhancement and Defect Management: Assessing and prioritizing system modifications & enhancements documenting functional requirements and test cases coordinating business user testing and approval communicating system changes to relevant user groups
• Lead UAT business planning and execution. Review QA and write UAT test scripts. Manage UAT with end-users including coordination and user acceptance sign-off
• Partner with project stakeholders IT 3^rd party vendors and System Administrator teams to plan and prepare for Go-Live and post-go live support
• Participate in end-to-end implementation planning including project management issue management communication and change management. May engage with Change Management/Communications teams to plan change management for project launches
• Create and manage project plans; monitor and review project progress and timelines; work with project stakeholders to adjust schedules and plans as needed and identify and resolve issues to ensure project success

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to work with stakeholders at all levels of the business (both business and technical facing) and engage on projects from beginning to end along with effective interpersonal skills
• Performer. Proven track record of delivery in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to break down a complex business process and break down into manageable steps.
• Able to work independently and consider cross-functional and downstream impacts with close attention to detail
• Must have background in implementing Pricing applications
• Experience with Model N is nice to have
• Significant experience in working with large complex cross-functional projects
• Significant experience in providing best in class IT service
• Bachelors degree and/or equivalent experience

Your experience includes:

• 3-5 years of technical program/project management experience
• 2 years in designing and developing enterprise applications using Java or similar or any other web development tool
• 2 years of experience in Pricing solutions / applications
• 2 years of experience in Vistex Revenue Management
• Experience in SAP Pricing
• Experience in SQL and SAP Query Tools
• Experience working closely with Sales and Pricing teams understanding of Pricing processes
• Experience with and understanding of the Salesforce platform; demonstrated knowledge of Salesforce capabilities/potential to provide solutions to business problems
• Familiarity with ETL process knowledge of data integration tools DellBoomi Informatica and SAP BODS.
• Project management skills to keep projects on track and moving toward the end business goal
• Familiarity with Salesforce or software implementation lifecycle
• Knowledge of SAP Pricing is an added advantage
• Skilled in Visio or Lucid Chart (or similar tool)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
• Bachelors degree in business computer science or related field
• Previous experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment preferred
