Job Summary

The Sanitation Team Member is responsible for maintaining a clean safe and sanitary production environment to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company quality standards. This role plays a key part in preventing contamination and ensuring all equipment surfaces and work areas meet cleanliness and hygiene requirements.
Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize production equipment tools and facility areas in accordance with established schedules and procedures.
  • Disassemble and reassemble machinery for thorough cleaning following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Handle and properly use cleaning chemicals and sanitation solutions safely and effectively.
  • Inspect equipment and work areas to verify cleanliness before production restarts.
  • Maintain accurate sanitation logs checklists and other required documentation.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and all company safety and food safety policies.
  • Report any equipment issues safety hazards or sanitation concerns to the supervisor immediately.
  • Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams to ensure sanitation activities are completed efficiently and safely.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in food manufacturing sanitation preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
  • Ability to work in wet cold or humid environments and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail reliability and teamwork.
Work Schedule
  • Hours and schedule may vary depending on production needs. Start time can vary anytime between 6pm-8pm and shifts are typically about 8-10 hours past the start time. At this time Monday-Friday.
