Sanctions Compliance Specialist
Company Description/Details

Our client is seeking a Sanctions Compliance Specialist to join a high-impact Global Exports and Sanctions Compliance team supporting sanctions screening and compliance operations in a fast-paced global environment. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex sanctions investigations collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to compliance program enhancements.

The ideal candidate brings strong investigative and analytical skills sound judgment and the ability to manage high-volume screening activity while meeting time-sensitive deadlines.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Review investigate clear and escalate sanctions screening alerts while meeting established SLAs and maintaining high-quality case documentation.
  • Conduct due diligence on customers business partners and transactions using internal systems commercial databases public records and other research tools.
  • Analyze potential sanctions and EAR restricted-party matches distinguishing true matches from false positives through thorough research and evidence-based analysis.
  • Escalate potential sanctions terrorist financing law enforcement or other financial crime concerns and collaborate with compliance and business stakeholders on appropriate resolutions.
  • Support sanctions-related projects emerging risk analysis and continuous improvements to compliance screening processes.
Qualifications:
  • Experience reviewing investigating and resolving sanctions AML terrorist financing or related financial crime compliance issues.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with OFAC laws and sanctions regulations with the ability to conduct effective due diligence and false-positive analysis.
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills with the ability to exercise independent judgment in a high-volume time-sensitive environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

  • Pay Range: $47.00$52.48per hour
