Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Lead

Location: Fort Lauderdale FL (Hybrid 3 Days Onsite)

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Lead on behalf of our client in Fort Lauderdale FL. We are looking for a highly skilled and hands-on technical leader with deep expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) headless commerce and modern web technologies. This role will lead the architecture development and delivery of scalable digital commerce solutions while driving engineering excellence modernization initiatives and enterprise eCommerce innovation.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with SFCC storefront development PWA Kit API integrations cloud-based architectures and leading cross-functional engineering teams in delivering high-performance commerce platforms.

• Lead the end-to-end architecture design and development of Salesforce Commerce Cloud solutions.

• Design and implement scalable headless commerce solutions using PWA Kit and modern frontend technologies.

• Collaborate with Product UX Architecture QA DevOps and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital commerce experiences.

• Drive engineering best practices code quality performance optimization and application scalability.

• Lead integrations with enterprise systems third-party platforms and RESTful APIs.

• Provide technical leadership for production support incident management deployments and release planning.

• Mentor and guide development teams across frontend and backend technologies.

• Ensure platform security reliability maintainability and operational excellence.

• Contribute to technical roadmaps architecture decisions and digital commerce modernization initiatives.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.

• 10 years of software development experience.

• 4 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC/Demandware).

• Strong experience implementing and supporting SFCC using PWA Kit.

• Expertise in headless commerce architecture SCAPI and OCAPI.

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Experience integrating REST APIs middleware and third-party commerce platforms.

• Solid understanding of commerce workflows including checkout cart pricing promotions and customer journeys.

• Experience with AWS GitLab CI/CD pipelines and Agile development methodologies.

• Strong troubleshooting and production support experience.

• Demonstrated technical leadership with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience with microservices and API-first architectures.

• Knowledge of payment gateway integrations.

• Experience delivering enterprise-scale Salesforce Commerce Cloud implementations.

• Familiarity with Akamai CDN and edge delivery technologies.

• Experience with Splunk Dynatrace and FullStory.

• Knowledge of Adobe Analytics Adobe Launch and Optimizely.

• Experience working within large enterprise digital commerce environments.
