About the Role

Copeland Insurance is seeking a motivated detailoriented Insurance Office Assistant to support a small fastpaced Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance office. This role is heavily clerical and ideal for someone who is comfortable with data entry navigating multiple systems and learning insurance operations from the ground up. Training is provided and there is strong longterm growth potential.

Youll be working in a small office environment (36 people) supporting daytoday administrative and frontdesk operations while the leadership team continues to clean up and modernize internal systems.

DaytoDay Responsibilities

• Perform highvolume clerical and data entry work within insurance systems (Epic Mangement)
• Answer and route incoming phone calls (receptioniststyle support)
• Review update and maintain client files and spreadsheets
• Scan and digitize paper files
• Assist with system cleanup and onboarding process improvements
• Navigate multiple internal software platforms in a fastpaced environment
• Support a P&C retail/consumer insurance book across dozens of carriers

Required Qualifications

• Strong data entry and administrative experience
• Comfortable working in a deskbased inoffice role
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems and processes
• Detailoriented organized and reliable
• Strong communication skills for phone and inperson interactions
• Comfortable in a fastpaced evolving environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in insurance (especially P&C)
• Familiarity with Applied Epic and/or AMS360
• Microsoft 365 experience (Excel Outlook Word)
• Basic Excel skills; pivot tables are a plus
• Active insurance license (not required but a plus)
