JOB OVERVIEW

The Sales Order Management Representative is primarily responsible for entering orders accurately and efficiently providing exemplary service to internal and external customers under the direction of the Order Entry Supervisor and Manager of Commercial Operations.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Answers incoming emails for order placements changes and cancellations.
• Enters customer orders received via email EDI and online website orders.
• Verifies and checks orders for accuracy; works with internal stakeholders (shipping scheduling and sales) to ensure specifications and pricing is correct.
• Send customer order acknowledgements if not sent automatically.
• Enters replacement and sample orders.

EDUCATION

• High School Diploma or equivalent

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

• Prior data entry experience preferred.
• Ability to accurately enter data on a keyboard.
• Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks; good time-management problem prevention and problem- solving skills.
• Ability to work accurately with close attention to detail.
• Ability to work creatively and effectively in a team environment.
• Good oral/written communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
