Our R&D team drives innovation product enhancements and a strong pipeline of new solutions while our manufacturing team oversees production and quality control at our ISO-certified facility. Also based in our New York headquarters are our sales marketing administrative and service teams who work closely together to ensure every customer receives a seamless personalized experience at every touchpoint.
Role Summary:
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify prospective customers and target accounts within the pathology laboratory healthcare and life sciences markets
- Conduct outbound prospecting through phone calls email LinkedIn and other appropriate channels
- Respond promptly and professionally to inbound leads and inquiries
- Qualify prospective customers based on business needs fit interest and purchasing potential
- Schedule qualified meetings and product discussions for members of the sales team
- Develop and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified prospects
- Build relationships with prospective customers and serve as a knowledgeable first point of contact for Clarapath
- Learn and effectively communicate Clarapaths products technology value proposition and applications
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date prospect and activity information in the companys CRM
- Track outreach activities meetings opportunities and conversion metrics
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to refine prospecting strategies and messaging
- Follow up consistently with prospects throughout the qualification process
- Participate in sales meetings training trade shows conferences and other business development activities as needed
- Stay informed about industry trends customer needs competitive activity and developments in pathology and laboratory automation
- Meet or exceed established activity qualified meeting pipeline generation and other performance goals
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Communications Life Sciences or a related field preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in sales business development customer-facing recruiting or a related role preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable making outbound calls and initiating conversations with prospective customers
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport and establish relationships with new contacts
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Self-motivated proactive and results-oriented
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced collaborative environment
- Ability to learn and communicate technical products and concepts
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales prospecting tools a plus
- Experience selling into healthcare medical technology diagnostics laboratory or life sciences markets a plus
