Job Summary

SUMMARY:
Provide various forms of support to the sales team and other related departments with primary focus on all stages of the sales and project execution process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide quotations for clients. Conversion of quotations to customer orders and eventual invoicing upon completion of installation or service work.
  • Assist with preparation of pricing for large projects that require submission of bids and proposals.
  • Request price and delivery quotations from manufacturers vendors and freight carriers. Fully understand all binding terms criteria and stipulations included in quotations.
  • Follow all quote and order guidelines. Ensure protocols are executed timely and as defined.
  • Update and administer furniture standards portfolios for clients who present frequent and consistent order requests.
  • Document specific practices related to key clients. Utilize standard forms and templates where appropriate.
  • Participate where applicable in regular project status review meetings with large key and long-standing clients with regular ongoing order requests.
  • Coordinate and facilitate weekly or bi-weekly internal status meetings for team members to review the status of orders placed to include dates for product arrival delivery installation open issue / punch list completion and invoicing of clients.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of expertise in the efficient utilization of our core software application for order processing.
  • Provide backup support to assist teammates in the department when necessary. Communicate status of workload when it varies from typical levels to teammates.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
  • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Five years of experience in a related field to include purchasing sales support or accounting functions.
  • Desire and ability to adapt to new software applications. Intermediate-level skills required with use of Microsoft Excel Outlook and Word. Experience with Smartsheet software is helpful.
  • Ability to plan prioritize organize and execute work efficiently and effectively.
  • Desire to participate in a multi-functional team-based culture taking pride in providing internal and external customer service.
  • Strong desire to provide information communicate status and keep others informed.
  • Detailed-oriented with prioritization of accuracy.
  • Ability to balance manage and execute workloads that can vary based on assigned projects. Ability to be flexible with work schedules and work overtime when needed.
