Sales Account Manager Automotive (Remote Great Lakes / Upper Midwest)

A well-established family-owned manufacturer serving the automotive supply chain is hiring a Sales Account Manager to grow its business across the Great Lakes / Upper Midwest and Mexico.

This is a hunter role. Youll be doing up to 70% new business development reporting to the Director of Sales with an existing book to build on.

What youll do

• Develop new business across automotive Tier 1 suppliers and OEMs
• Manage and grow existing relationships in your territory
• Travel 40% across the Great Lakes / Upper Midwest and into Mexico
• Work closely with sales leadership on account strategy and pipeline

What were looking for

• 3 to 5 years of outside sales experience selling into automotive Tier 1 suppliers or OEMs
• Comfortable with a hunter-heavy role and heavy travel schedule
• Based in MI OH IN IL or WI
• Spanish language skills a plus not required
• Prior experience with precision converted products or functional materials for automotive electronics is a plus not required

Compensation

• $85000 to $115000 base salary plus bonus
• Car allowance of approximately $830/month
• Remote role home office based
