Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to develop new business relationships generate sales opportunities and build a strong portfolio of business clients within an assigned territory.
This is a field-based B2B sales position for a confident sales professional who enjoys prospecting cold calling face-to-face meetings networking and developing long-term relationships with business decision-makers.
The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities qualify prospective clients manage an active sales pipeline and work closely with an internal team to convert opportunities into successful client partnerships.
This is a direct-hire opportunity. No relocation assistance or visa sponsorship is available.
- Prospect for new business through outbound calls face-to-face visits networking referrals and local market research.
- Identify companies with potential staffing and workforce needs.
- Contact business owners hiring managers HR professionals and other authorized decision-makers.
- Qualify prospects by understanding their hiring needs budget workforce challenges and timeline.
- Schedule and conduct meetings with qualified decision-makers.
- Present staffing and workforce solutions based on each clients needs.
- Introduce prospective clients to the internal employment team for seamless job-order fulfillment.
- Develop new client relationships and consistently work toward new-account acquisition goals.
- Maintain a consistent and highly active daily sales schedule.
- Complete approximately 120 weekly sales activities including phone calls and face-to-face business visits.
- Conduct regular two-way conversations with business decision-makers.
- Schedule strategic appointments with high-potential prospects.
- Maintain accurate records of calls meetings follow-ups opportunities and next steps in the CRM system.
- Build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline with a focus on near-term opportunities.
- Identify high-potential prospects and develop targeted follow-up strategies.
- Follow up consistently with prospects and existing clients to generate additional opportunities.
- Develop and execute a daily territory plan to maximize productivity.
- Organize the assigned market into geographic areas and prioritize prospects based on business potential.
- Plan daily appointments and prospecting activities to maximize time in the field.
- Research local businesses and identify organizations with current or future hiring needs.
- Monitor local employment and labor-market trends to provide useful information to prospects and clients.
- Participate in appropriate local networking events and business organizations to generate qualified leads.
- Use active listening and effective discovery questions to understand client challenges.
- Identify workforce requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Respond confidently to objections and buying signals.
- Educate prospective clients about staffing processes and available workforce solutions.
- Build trust with decision-makers through professional value-focused conversations.
- Develop long-term client relationships rather than relying solely on transactional sales.
- Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships and introduce additional services.
- Work closely with internal employment and recruiting specialists to move new opportunities toward fulfillment.
- Share qualified leads and client information promptly with the internal team.
- Communicate daily priorities appointments opportunities and territory plans.
- Provide relevant candidate information to prospective clients when appropriate.
- Coordinate with internal colleagues to ensure a smooth transition from sales development to service delivery.
- Participate in sales coaching team meetings training and professional development activities.
- Conduct all sales activities in accordance with applicable federal and state employment laws and company policies.
- Maintain accurate CRM and sales activity records.
- Follow established sales processes and documentation requirements.
- Maintain professional knowledge of staffing employment and local labor-market trends.
- Represent the organization professionally during client visits networking events and business meetings.
- At least 1 year of sales business development account acquisition outside sales or related experience.
- Experience with prospecting cold calling lead generation or new-client acquisition is highly valued.
- Experience communicating directly with business decision-makers is preferred.
- Comfortable with a fast-paced field-based sales environment.
- Able to maintain consistent daily prospecting and follow-up activity.

This is a field-based outside sales position requiring regular travel throughout the assigned territory. The role involves visiting prospective and existing business clients and may involve exposure to changing weather and road conditions.
Candidates should be comfortable spending significant time outside the office traveling between appointments conducting face-to-face sales visits and building relationships within the local business community.
