Our projects include anaerobic digesters biogas-powered electric generation and renewable natural gas DescriptionThe Safety Technician will support the Safety Team in overseeing and managing safety protocols and procedures at our dairy digester biogas and biogas conditioning plants. This includes assisting in the development implementation and monitoring of safety protocols conducting site inspections and ensuring compliance with local state and federal safety regulations. The Safety Technician will play a key role in promoting a safe work environment for all employees and contractors involved in site Compliance: Help ensure compliance with local state and federal safety regulations including OSHA environmental and industry-specific Response and Investigation: Assist in incident investigations help determine root causes and support the implementation of corrective actions to prevent future Training and Education: Provide safety training and guidance to staff ensuring they are aware of safety practices while still able to execute their roles Assessments: Conduct risk assessments and safety audits regularly to identify potential hazards offering practical solutions that align with the fast-paced nature of biogas Preparedness: Help develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures ensuring all employees are trained and prepared for potential with Operations: Work closely with plant operators to create a culture of safety that supports high productivity without imposing unnecessary restrictions on operational a Culture of Safety: Foster a workplace environment that prioritizes safety as a core value while also promoting efficiency and high up time in all & SkillsMinimum of 1-2 years of experience in a safety role preferably in the renewable energy or dairy agriculture or utility with OSHA EPA and other regulatory compliance organizational and communication to work independently and manage multiple tasks drivers license and ability to travel to remote sites as with standard computer applications and productivity systemsMust be proficient in DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive list of activities duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
